C’mon Ben

C'mon Ben

24 x 36 – Oil on Canvas

This setting is just east of Felt, Idaho which is a few miles north of Tetonia on the west side of the Teton range. The old building with a windmill still stands and was still being used as a base camp for elk hunters at the time of the painting. I call it C’mon Ben because the mule’s name is Ben. The wrangler was just getting a few of the pack animals ready for a beautiful late fall hunting trip up to the base of the mountains. I envied the lucky hunters, as I like to go along for the ride to take pictures for future paintings.
